Certification for Businesses & Institutions

Community Kashrut provides rigorous certification to restaurants, caterers, professional kitchens, canteens, and food manufacturers across NSW. If you're ready to access the kosher market and build trust with customers who keep kosher, we're here to support your success every step of the way.

Innovation in Kashrut

Community Kashrut leads the way in progressive kashrut supervision. We've pioneered fully kosher pop-up events in partnership with non-kosher restaurateurs, bringing gourmet kosher dining to the community. We've also introduced advanced camera supervision technology for food manufacturing, ensuring rigorous oversight while respecting operational efficiency.

All innovations are developed with the approval of some of the highest halakhic authorities in kashrut, ensuring that progress never compromises our unwavering commitment to halachic integrity.

Who We Supervise

The Certification Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation

We begin with a comprehensive conversation about your operation—your kitchen layout, menu offerings, supplier relationships, and goals. You'll learn what CK certification entails and how we support your success.

Step 2: Kitchen Assessment

Our team conducts a thorough on-site inspection of your kitchen, equipment, storage systems, and work practices. We identify any necessary modifications and outline the pathway to certification.

Step 3: Supplier & Ingredient Review

We evaluate all your ingredient and product suppliers to ensure they meet our rigorous kashrut standards. Where needed, we recommend pre-approved suppliers and discuss sourcing options.

Step 4: Vaad Approval

Your plan is reviewed and approved by our Vaad HaRabbanim. Supervision is flexible and tailored to your needs to ensure it is economical whilst ensuring the highest levels of kashrut.

Step 5: Onboarding & Certificate Issuance

Once approved, you'll receive your CK certificate and full onboarding support. We'll guide you through all necessary protocols and ensure your team is prepared to operate under kashrut supervision from day one.

Costs & Fees

We operate on a cost-recovery model. Our fees cover supervision, administrative support, and leadership from our Rav (Rabbi Yedidya Krauthammer) and our Head of Mashgichim (Rev Mendy Gershowitz). Costs vary based on your business type, operational scale, and supervision frequency. We'll provide a detailed, transparent quote tailored to your specific operation—no surprises.
